He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis M. Cerre, Sr. and Velma Leon Cerre; and his brother Byron Cerre, Sr. (Louis). He is survived by: his wife Andrea Demas Cerre; his children, Louis III, Shawn (Timothy I) and Blaine (Rachel); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Jessica, Timothy II, Payton and Harmoni; his great grandchildren, Jared, Tyler III and Tyran; and his sister-in-law Sharon.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
