Though Lorraine Green may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lorraine Green touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorthy Green and Noah Green; and her sister Linda Grandpre (Herbert Green). She is survived by: her husband Sam Worthy; her children, Samantha Worthy, Natasha Worthy and Ami Green; her grandchildren, Amisha Maize and Marvon Brant; and her brothers, Joseph Green and Chester Green. She is also survived by other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Macedonia Church of God in Christ (3015 Louisa St, New Orleans, LA 70126). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
