She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert, Sr. Sears and Elizabeth Sears; her grandparents, William, Victoria S. Marshall and Cleo Turner; her siblings, Lalita Cole, Philip Sears, Raymos Sears, Sr., George Sears, Marhsa Lenox and Roberta Sears; and her aunt Mildred Moody.
She is survived by: her godchildren, Brian L. Sears, Lakeisha S. Bevley (Ronald) and Devin Cole (Ahkeiya); and her siblings, Amanda S. Johnson, Cleo "Vicki" Sears, Renita Pitts (Charles), Robert Sears, Jr. (Des), Marshall Sears (Lenovia) and Reginald Washington, Sr. (Dionne). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
