In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Lillie Mae had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Lillie Mae may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bryant Bell; her former husband Clarence Willis, Sr.; her parents, Raymond Herbert, Sr. and Louise M. Herbert; her son Clarence Willis, Jr.; her brother Raymond Herbert, Jr.; and her son-in-law Lawrence Stansberry III.
She is survived by: her children, Kendall Willis and Kylineetra Stansberry; her siblings, Aurelia Narcisse and Poland Perkins (June); and her brother-in-law John Narcisse. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church (2015 Louisiana Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115).
