He was predeceased by: his grandmother Eliza Harris; and his father Herman O. LaRoche. He is survived by: his wife Venus LaRoche; his mother Sophie Bowman; his children, Leon Burton, Irwin Johnson, Kiarra Mackey, Prentiss Brown, Shandricka Brown, Leianne LaRoche, Christopher LaRoche and Chancie Wright; his stepchildren, Kenneth Polk, Evangelynn Polk and Sheena Brown; and his siblings, Ollie Fleming, Delzoria Jefferson and Katie LaRoche. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, and an abundance of relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A repast was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
