With profound sadness, we say goodbye to LaVergne White of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theresa Baham Barze and Rev. Syprean Barze; her daughter Constance Ann Hinkson; and her sister Octavia Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Richard L Hinkson; her daughter Candace Shelmire (Mack); her granddaughters, Heather Jovan, Anjanette Laurice (Cedric), Joy Angele, Faith Victoria and Rachelle Laverne (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Ethan Terrell, Chloe Elizabeth, Jashua Evan, Cedric Sylvester, Benny Charles, Blake Howard, Jordyn Gabrielle, Carsen Syprean, Tyler Anthony and Jayda Elise. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and devoted friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Amozion Baptist Church (907 Deslonde St, New Orleans, LA 70117). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
