She was predeceased by: her parents, Roby Stephenson and William Heard (Bill); her grandparents, Maude and Jim Heard; her brother Larry Robinson; and her nieces, Haley Higginbotham and Rachelle Domingue.

She is survived by: her husband HJ Buddy Shushan; her siblings, Paula Heard Higginbotham, Debbie Heard Sittig, Fredy Robinson and Steven Robinson; her daughters, Stacy and Sheryl; her granddaughters, Anna and Leah Davis; and her godchildren, David Phillips and Madison Sittig Mitchell.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Kay and Buddy's Home (5231 St Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115).
