It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn B. Hargis in New Orleans, Louisiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Michael Borst and Beverly Joy Brumble; her husband John Alvin Hargis; her sister Diane Minnie Hood; and her grandsons, Joshua and Justin King.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer King (Morgan King), Kristina Kane (Patrick Kane) and John A. Hargis Jr. (Carolyn Hargis); her grandchildren, Emily Kathryn King, Lauren Elizabeth Kane, Lindsey Rose Kane and Cyndi Jo Fowler; her sister-in-law Helen Rosalie Hargis (Lyn); and her friend Dorothy Anita Buhler (Dita).
A rosary was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Mary the Virgin Catholic Church (1408 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012). A Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
