It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Marie Scott of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Mae Washington; and her grandparents, Albert Washington, Sr. and Katie Rodney Washington. She is survived by: her daughter Terrilyn Scott Wiggins; her son-in-law Rev. Antwan Wiggins; her siblings, Gail Honoré Stephens (Carl) and Edward Honoré, Jr.; her nieces, Dominiqui Stephens Southall (Antione) and Aleah Stephens; her nephew Brandon Stephens; her close friend Jacqueline Lowe (Joe); and her goddaughter Jarina Lowe.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany United Methodist Church (4533 Mendez St, New Orleans, LA 70126). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
