With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Juanita Doris Reynolds of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Reynolds and Milton Jennings; her grandson Cristan Washington; and her sisters, Anna Lou Brown, Viney Reynolds and Barbara Byrd.
She is survived by: her children, Omar Washington (Beverly Pitt-Washington), Sharonda Washington, Sheba Washington and Viney Washington (Robert Balthazar); her grandchildren, Omar Washington Jr., Zion Washington, Zori Washington, Bella Washington and Penelope Balthazar; and her brothers, Eli Reynolds and James Reynolds. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gentilly Baptist Church (5141 Franklin Ave, New Orleans, LA 70112). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
