He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Rainey Bijou; his children, Penny, Tammy Bijou, Joseph John Bijou III and Eric; his stepdaughter Valenetta Rainey; his sisters, Phyllis A. Fraise, Gwendolyn F. Donahue (Leroy), Sheila B. Craig (Michael), Connie Buchanan (Michael) and Yvette Riggins (Kenneth); and his siblings-in-law, Gwendolyn Rainey and Oscar Rainey (Joan). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
