He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Jackson Williams; his mother Viola Bruntion; and his sister Sylvia Holmes Wynne. He is survived by: his children, Darrell J. Williams, Terri W. Brown, Jeanne W. Chapman, Maurice A. Williams Sr., Gerald M. Williams, Monique M. Williams, Rhonda E Williams and Yolanda A. Williams; his sister Debra Flowers Griffin; his grandchildren, Jeremie W. Brown (Grace), Maurice A. Williams II, Erin M. Banks, Marlise D. Williams, Kaci D. Williams, Mia S. Williams and Matthew D. Williams; and his great grandchildren, Kiley A. Leonard, Jayson W. Brown, Landen G. Sanders and Camille W. Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mount Zion Baptist Church (2200 Dumaine St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
