He is survived by: his brother Arthur Durel Sr. (Patricia); his sons, John Durel Jr. and Jason Durel (Lenorah); his granddaughters, Mackenzie Durel and Madison Durel; his wife Cynthia T. Durel; and his friend Joe Barry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
