He is survived by: his wife Martha Hampton; his children, John L "June" Hampton Jr. (Cornella), Ernest Hampton (Buck) and Denice Brooks (Larry); his stepchildren, Lanette Honora and Ronald Gibson Sr.; his siblings, Henry Hampton, Irma H. Womack (General) and Claretha H. Favors (Larry); his grandchildren, John Green (Akura), Quentin (Ericka), Robert III, Shatronda "Bug" Traywick, Kenisha (Romell), Leroy Jr., Ariel Hampton, Lendell Smith, Cornell, Darnell Randle, Delilah James (Lawrence), Tasha Olinde (Clever), Patrice, Erlisser Phipps, Larry Jr. and Alexanderea Brooks; and his daughter-in-law Raynell Hampton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
