The memory of John Fotios Kouloubis (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on March 16, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fotios Kouloubis and Konstantina Kouloubis; his siblings, Aristotelis Kouloubis (Aristos), Christina Dagoglou, Susana Giovani (Susi), Andriana Derekas, Demetrios Kouloubis and Alexios Kouloubis; and his grandson John Mailhes.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Mariakis of New Orleans; his sister Efstathia Madouras (Effie); his children, Konstantina Kouloubis Mailhes (Kraig), Katherine Kouloubis Williamson (Adrian), Eleni Kouloubis Myers (Charles Buff) and Frank Fotios Kouloubis (Darlene Clausing); and his grandchildren, Adrian Williamson IV (Emily), Jonathan Kouloubis Williamson (Emily Ray), Alexander Mailhes (Alex) and Stephen Mailhes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (1200 Robert E Lee Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70122). An entombment was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the St. Louis Cemetery No. (3421 Esplanade Ave, New Orleans, LA 70119).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
