We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2024, at the age of 86, John Donald Hope (New Orleans, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dorothy, Marguerite, Kenneth, Alva, Otis, Nolan and Billie.

He is survived by: his wife Marsha Dewar Hope; his daughters, Denise Hope Gaspard, Debbie Kay Hope and Kellie Hope Mathas; his sons-in-law, Allen B. Mathas Jr. and Terry Gaspard; and his grandchildren, Finn Hope Taylor, Alison Hope Taylor, Lauren Hope Wright, Cole McGregor Mathas and Carly Hope Mathas. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to John Curtis Christian School on behalf of John D. Hope based on his wishes.
