With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John August Crutti of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John August Crutti to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Crutti (Rapp) and Peter Crutti; his former wife MaryAnn Blum (Melinda Cotham Crutti); and his daughter Rachael Eliska Crutti. He is survived by: his spouse Brigitta Crutti; his siblings, Peter Crutti (Myra), Joseph Crutti (Deborah) and Barbara Cambre (Larry); his children, Lorraine Crutti Loy, John "Jay" Crutti Jr. (Jessica) and Sarah Elizabeth Crutti; and his grandchildren, Gabrielle Loy McKinney (Drew), David Loy III, Micah Loy, Seth Loy, Camille Loy-Poulos (Anthony), Daniel and Eleanor Crutti. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Louisiana State University scholarship fund.
