He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bidol Sr. and Laura Baham; his wife Clair Romain; his friend John; and his sisters, Joyce Bidol Evans and Justlin Bidol.
He is survived by: his children, Shermaine Bidol Moore, Cynthia Bidol Smothers (Albert), Clifford (Jenny), Dwight, Lisa (Mark), Tom (Norma), Juanita (Tyrone), Terence and Alfred "Pat" Foster; and his sisters, Una Millet (Nolan Sr), Marguerite Johnson (Ellis) and Merlene Walker (Clinard). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was duly recognized with receipt of the "Order of St Louis" medallion, an esteemed, archdiocesan award given to laypersons for their outstanding, Christlike contributions to the Church.
