With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Dean Bain (New Orleans, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Elliott; her sons, Steven Bain (Aimee), Brian Bain (Julie Koppman) and Bradley Bain (Daniela); her sister Carol Kromirs (Michael); her sister-in-law Harriet Liroff (Richard); her grandchildren, Lindsey Bain of Joseph, David Bain and Jacob Bain; her nephews, Jason Kromirs (Melanie Topper), Bruce Liroff (Patti) and Robert Liroff; and her niece Susan Klinger (Joel). She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and cousins.
