She is survived by: her husband Eddie Matthews, Jr.; her son Eddie Matthews, III; and her goddaughter Crystal L. Zenon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Fifth African Baptist Church (3419 S Robertson St, New Orleans, LA 70115). A masonic service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
