She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence J. Baudry and Clemence Gaude'Baudry; her husband Herman I. Knecht, Jr.; her son Brian P. Knecht; and her sister Cheryl E. Baudry.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Patricia Knecht; and her sister Linda B. Carlos. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (4640 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Janice's name to Saint Anthony of Padua Church.
