She was predeceased by: her husband John Henry Truett (Jack); her parents, Lawrence F. Babst and Loretto Morvant Babst; her son Robert Babst Truett; and her brothers, Lawrence F. Babst Jr. (Linda) and Gerard E. Babst (Cynthia).
She is survived by: her son John Henry Truett Jr.; her daughter-in-law Melissa Ledyard Truett; her siblings, Loretto Stephens, Walter M. Babst (Bebe) and James A. Babst (Cynthia); her grandchildren, John Henry Truett, III (Amanda), Frances Truett Roney (Zachary), James Montgomery Truett, Austin Thomas Vollman and Christian Avery Vollman; and her great grandchildren, Grace Adelaide Truett, Emmaline Louise Truett, Frances Elizabeth Roney and Mae Lucille Truett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Prompt Succor (2701 State St, New Orleans, LA 70118). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
