James R. Patin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Patin (New Orleans, Louisiana), born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Patin and Mary Kate Tarbutt Patin; and his son James R. Patin (Jimmy). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Devia Patin; his sons, Alan Patin (Beverly) and Bruce Patin (Elizabeth); and his stepdaughters, Shanna Labranche (Michael), Deidre Rodriguez (Barry) and Siobhan Michel (Johnny). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
