We bid farewell to James Clarence McGuinness Jr. (New Orleans, Louisiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 23, 2024 at the age of 88. James Clarence touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. McGuinness and Mireille Lanusse McGuinness; his sister Patricia Susan McGuinness; and his daughter Amy Elizabeth McGuinness. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Rose; his children, Dr. James C. McGuinness III (Marlena), Kathleen Ann McGuinness, Patrick Clay McGuinness (Jenny) and Matthew Paul McGuinness (Elisa); his grandchildren, Delaney, Tucker, Kate, Karys, Khloe, Olive, Mamie and James; and his brothers, Charles, William "Billy" McGuinness (Colleen) and Mike Fitzgerald. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request Masses be offered in Jay's name or donations made to the Morgan Rae Center for Hope at Children's Hospital in New Orleans (Calhoun Campus).
