He is survived by: his wife Cathy Smith Lacassagne; his children, Monique Cangiamilla (Joey), Louis H Lacassagne, III (Renee), Herbert L Lacassagne, Jr. (Margie), Desiree L Ramsey (Jamey), Troy Hoffpauir (Gina) and Scott Hoffpauir (Gina); his grandchildren, Vincent Cangiamilla, III (Laura), Lauren Hardin (Nikki), Kristen Barnes (Blake), Herbert L Lacassagne, III (Kenli), Katey Hoffpauir, Sabrina Lacassagne, Joseph Ramsey (Annie), Sean Ramsey (Savannah) and Louis H Lacassagne IV; and his great grandchildren, Laylah, Drew, Jackson, Clark, Landon, Mia, Ainsley, Ryder, Riley, Hart, Ava, Hudson, Kingsley, Sailor and Shiloh.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Good Shepherd School in New Orleans or St. Michael's.
