He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Garon and Jeanne Rodriguez Garon; his son Timothy Garon; and his siblings, Allen Garon, Earl Garon and Rosemary Joffrion.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Adele Reynaud Garon; his children, Michael Garon (Bic), Jeanne Taylor (Creed) and Patrick Garon (Denise); his grandson Richard Garon; and his siblings, Jeanne LeBlanc (late Richard) and Valery Garon (Behre). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
