He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie M. Sextion; his child Glen Section; his grandson Corey E. Harris, Sr.; his great grandchild Robert Segue, III; his parents, Gus Sextion and Rosetta Jordan Sextion; and his siblings, Fred Sextion, Jesse Sextion and Mose Sextion, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Irene Section-Green, Rickey Section (Shirley), Gus Section, Thea Section Green (Arthur), Andrew Section (Janet) and Loretta Daniels-Wilson; his great grandchild Jalen Daniels; his siblings, Wilbert Sextion Cleora (Mary) of Chicago, IL, Geneva Sextion of Chicago, IL and Dorothy Robertson of Chicago, IL; and his godchild Kim Young. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (1419 4th St, Westwego, LA 70094). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
