He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Williams and Viola Johnson Williams; his wife Joyce Washington Williams; his son Gerald Williams, Jr.; and his siblings, Donald, Sr. and Janice Vera Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Delia Jackson (Melvin), Lisa Scott (Willie), Antonio (Linda) and Earl Williams; and his grandchildren, Danielle (Orlando), Melvin, Jr. (Miranda) and Jalicia Horton (Alonzo). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the First Zion Baptist Church (7201 Olive St, New Orleans, LA 70125). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
