He is survived by: his wife Gwen Schlesier Hudgens; his daughter Kimberly Hickingbotham (Ray) of Carrollton, TX.; and his siblings, Diane Logan (Dave Cartier), Susan Massey, Helen Billingsley (John), Robert Hudgens (Cathy), Stephen Hudgens (Tonya), Alice Cooner (Les), Janie Hudgens and Kelly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his honor to Catholic High Foundation or Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
