He was predeceased by: his parents, Spiros Kampitsis and Angeliki Kampitsis; and his siblings, Gerasimos, Loula and Amalia.

He is survived by: his wife Eleni Kampitsis; his daughter Angeliki Kampitsis; his granddaughter Niki Bountovinas; and his sisters, Irene and Dina. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
