We bid farewell to Gail J Demery of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 29, 2024 at the age of 83. Gail touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward JeanPierre and Clara S. JeanPierre; and her sister Rosemary J. Route. She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Pierre Brooks (Hubert) and Wendy Demery Andrews (Rene); her sister Geraldine J. Daunoy; her grandsons, Corey J. Pierre, Sr. and Christopher C. Washington (Jordan); and her great grandchildren, Deja M. Pierre of Corey, Pierre, Jr., Keirah Jose'Jennings, Kai Luna Lopez and Haven Noel Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (2022 St Bernard Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117). A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Epiphany Catholic Church (2022 St Bernard Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117).
