As Evelyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Evelyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Douglas; and her siblings, Melvina and Coleman Pollard. She is survived by: her children, Terrance Pollard (Louisa) and Moritha Bronner (Odell); her grandchildren, Tromone Puckett (Jakia), Kenishia Puckett (Narrell) and Adored; and her nephews, Demarkus Puckett and Dalouis "Peter" Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Zion Baptist Church (1221 S Causeway Blvd, Jefferson, LA 70121). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
