It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Mae Marrero of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Dutton and Dorothy Dutton; her husband William Anthony Marrero; her son William Anthony Marrero Jr. Eva; and her siblings, Milton, Jr., Edward Dutton and Marion Marrero.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Anthony William Marrero (Kya), Shawn Jacobs and Sarissa Jacobs; her foster children, Brian, Cedric Steward and Eva Mae; and her sister Shirley Mae Batiste. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren.
