Eva Mae Marrero Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Mae Marrero of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Dutton and Dorothy Dutton; her husband William Anthony Marrero; her son William Anthony Marrero Jr. Eva; and her siblings, Milton, Jr., Edward Dutton and Marion Marrero.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Anthony William Marrero (Kya), Shawn Jacobs and Sarissa Jacobs; her foster children, Brian, Cedric Steward and Eva Mae; and her sister Shirley Mae Batiste. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Providence Memorial Park (8200 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70003). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Charbonnet Funeral Home - Treme' (1615 St Philip St, New Orleans, LA 70116).
