She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulla Rose Caroline Nilson and James Pirie Dowrick; her brother James P. Dowrick, Jr.; her husband Dr. William Myles Roeling; and her son Christopher Nilson Roeling.

She is survived by: her sons, William Pirie Roeling (Dana Landry), Myles Elliott Roeling (Shawn Reilly Tusa) and Matthew Robert Roeling; her grandchildren, William Myles Roeling, Ryan Christopher Roeling (Julia), Alex Roeling (Casey), Laura Roeling Nowak (Falco) and Blaire Roeling Falcon (Cameron); her great grandchildren, Emmett Roeling, Harper Roeling, Morgan Roeling, Elaine Roeling, Hayes Falcon, Joyce Nowak, Gabriel Tusa, Rubin Tusa, Gray Tusa, Quinn Tusa, Ruth Burke, Fiona Tusa and Cyrus Tusa; and also, James Dowrick (Shannon Howard), Pirie and Bette Roeling Stoelzing. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
