It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Frances LeCompte Tusa (New Orleans, Louisiana), born in Westwego, Louisiana, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Caliste Roger and Annie Lala LeCompte; and her siblings, Wilda F. LeCompte Taravella, Eula Mae LeCompte Taulli, Dorothy Virginia LeCompte Marse, Harold Joseph LeCompte, Dolly Margaret LeCompte Bertucci, Lois LeCompte Martin Baio, Annalee Rita LeCompte Chaisson and Geraldine Annette LeCompte Guidry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Frances Tusa Halperin, Sheila Lynn Tusa Ostrow and Sandra Ann Tusa Assaf; her grandchildren, Victoria Halperin Kuhns, Eric Halperin, Steven, Ellen Ostrow, Alexander, Ariana Jokers Gowin and Austin Assaf; and her great grandchildren, Cora, Mitchell Halperin Kuhns, Piper, Tenley, Kensington, Ryklee Ostrow, Harriet Elizabeth Rankin, Emory Assaf, Ella and Jett Jokers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
