She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Shaw (Shaw) and Eliska Williams Shaw (Osborne Jones, Sr.); her spouse Osborne Jones, Sr.; her son Osborne Jones, Jr.; her grandson Pharris Corneilus "Neil" Jones; and her siblings, Louvenia Royal, Isabella "Bell" Shaw-Tircuit, Sarah Shaw-Amos, Ophelia "Brenda" Shaw, Corastine "Cora" Shaw-Watson and Willie Shaw, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Elisker M. Jones (Jerome Johnson); her grandchildren, Jerome Jones, Osbanatta Brown, Osborne Brown and Osborn Bolden; her brother Ronald Shaw; her cousin Ora Mae Shaw; and her siblings-in-law, Bernadette, Aida, Margaret, Joni Jones, Lionel, Stanford and Anthony Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Second Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church (2616 St Andrew St, New Orleans, LA 70113). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
