It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Kirp Rose of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son William Taylor, Jr.; her parents, William Kirp and Alice Williams Kirp; and her grandmother Ida Stokes St. John. She is survived by: her sons, Alvin Taylor, Louie Taylor and Terrance "Teffy" Rose. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, and friends.
