With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Kemper Sublette (New Orleans, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Michael Kemper Sublette; his parents, Marcus Aurelius and Adlia Kemper Sublette; and his sisters, Mary Sublette Huggett and Yvonne Sublette McDonald.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean M. Sublette; his children, Jeanne Sublette Keene (Rick), Suzanne Sublette Coco (Richard) and Brian Kemper Sublette (Susan); his grandchildren, Nicholas Edward Reggio (Darci), Jennifer S. Reggio, Joshua C. Coco (Isadora), Jeannette Mills (Brandon), Sean Coco (Lexie), Madison Sublette, Sydney Sublette and Stuart Kemper Sublette; and his great grandchildren, Kayli, Aubri, Holli Reggio, Liam Reggio, Noah, Andrew, Elijah, Katy, Abby Mills and Michael Coco.

He became a longtime member of Friends of the Cabildo and served as the president of Memorial Hall Foundation.
