He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie "Rodie" Labatut Asaro; his daughter Rose Asaro; his parents, Vito Asaro and Marie Scandariato Asaro; and his siblings, Bessie Zuppardo, Adele Cabibi, John, Armando, Rudolph and Vincent Asaro.

He is survived by: his children, Edward (Peggy), Bobby (Sue), Jimmy (Debbie) and Lillie Leonard Vincent Asaro (Kirk); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Amy, Sonya, Shalea, Stacey, Andrew, Alex, Alyssa, Dominique and Vincent.
