With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edward J. Volkmann of New Orleans, Louisiana, born in Brownsville, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Edward left this world on January 16, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Pamela Volkmann; and his brother Harry Volkmann. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Volkmann (Kim) of Monroe Township, NJ and Kenneth Volkmann (Jessica) of Englishtown, NJ; his brothers, Michael Volkmann (Beverly) of San Antonio, TX and Ernest Volkmann (Mary Ann) of East Brunswick, NJ; his sister-in-law Helen Volkmann of Monroe Township, NJ; and his grandchildren, Justin Volkmann and Landyn Volkmann. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home (205 Rhode Hall Rd, Monroe Township, NJ 08831). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception RC Church (23 Manalapan Rd, Spotswood, NJ 08884). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Holy Cross Burial Park (840 Cranbury - South River Rd, Jamesburg, NJ 08831).
In lieu of flowers and for those who desire, memorial donations in Edward's name can be made to a charity of one's choice.
