He was predeceased by: his spouse Juantia C. Williams; his parents, Fannie J. Williams and Raymond Williams, Sr.; and his siblings, Raymond, Roland, Charles, Patricia and Melva Tut Williams Despanza.
He is survived by: his son Edgar R. Williams Jr.; his child-in-law Chianti R. Williams; and his siblings, Ralph Williams and Barbara Williams King.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Catholic Church (3037 Dauphine St, New Orleans, LA 70117). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
