She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Clarence Taylor; her mother-in-law Mariah Mills Taylor; her grandmother Rosie Toney; her siblings, Walter, Mabel, Lilly Mae and Joseph; her husband Nathaniel Ray Jr.; and her children, Nathaniel Ray IlI, Jimmy Ray, Betty Jean Ray (Short), Stella Louise Ray (Magee), Danny Ray, David Ray, Tyrone Ray, Gerald Ray, Ricky Oliver Ray and Deborah Ann Ray (Johnson).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Greater Liberty Baptist Church (1230 Desire St, New Orleans, LA 70117). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
