She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross F. Phillips and Hazel Casey Phillips; and her siblings, Jacquelyn DeBedts (Chuck), Margie Rabun (Bill), Winnie Harvey (Fred) and Ross F. Phillips, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Kevin Trower; her sons, Billy Kennedy (Mary), David Kennedy (Melanie) and Chris Kennedy (Janet); her grandchildren, Will Kennedy, Alexandra "Lexie" Kennedy McHone, Brooks Kennedy of Anna Cate, Dalton Kennedy, Katy Kennedy, Christopher Kennedy, Kelly Kennedy and Casey Kennedy; and her great grandchild Kennedy McHone.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
