She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Goines Sr. and Geneva M. Marshall; her husband Vernon Washington Jr.; and her siblings, Betty Johnson, James Wilson, William Senior, Joseph Jr., Theodore, Roy, Charles Sr., Calvin and John Sr..
She is survived by: her sister Gail Goines-Caesar; her siblings-in-law, Rosemary Goines and Edmond Caesar Jr.; and her nieces and nephews, Sadikka, Jeanette, Debra, Cathleen, Sabrina, Yvette, Carol, Troye, Toni, Angel, Karen, Geneva, William Jr. and Michael of Joseph, III.. She is also survived by Great Nieces and Nephews, as well as life long friends.
