He was predeceased by: his parents, O. D. Kain and Mary Lucille Byers Kain; and his significant other Joanie. He is survived by: his daughters, Zia Kain Brown (David) and Arrie Kain Henderson (Ben); his grandchildren, Rollins Atkinson Brown, Byers Landry Brown, Celia Reid Henderson, Theresa Holland Henderson and David Whitaker Henderson; and his siblings, Barrett Kelly Kain (Cheryl), Celia Ann Kain Prince (Raymond) and Kathleen Byers Kain. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.
