We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025, at the age of 60, David Charles Chapman of New Orleans, Louisiana, born in Harahan, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid David Charles farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen. He is survived by: his parents, Louise M. Chapman, and Harry L. Chapman, Jr.; his brother Michael J. Chapman; his stepchildren, Kelsey L. Haddow (Carson) and Dr. Jonathan R. Zeitzer; and his stepgrandchildren, John C. of Theodore, S. F. and Campbell F. Haddow.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home (2607 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70062). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gladewaves.
