With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Sanchez Lewis of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 24, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Davis and Marilyn Sanchez; her sons, Brandon and Drey Lewis; and her great grandchild Kah'lona Higgins.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Sanchez-Fournette (Renard) and Wallace Lewis; her siblings, Gwylen Sanchez, Bernadette Robinson, Emelda Sherman and Eric Harris; her grandchildren, Terriana Sanchez (Kealo, Jr.), Randall Sanchez, Reynell Fournette, Blake Lewis and Walayia Lewis; and her great grandchildren, Kealo Higgins III and Ranali Sanchez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Anointed House (1447 Senate St, New Orleans, LA 70122). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
