It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corey Anthony Legendre of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Legendre; his great-grandparents, Elease and Teddy Terrell; and his grandparents, Ethel Legendre and Fred W. Gould.
He is survived by: his father Wayne Lava; his siblings, Travis, Taurus and Keenan Legendre; and his aunts, Carolyn McGuffey (Leslie), Terri G. Matthews (late Leroy), Joann and Valda Legendre. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
