She was predeceased by: her mother Corry Stemley of New Orleans, Louisiana.; her siblings, Corry Jr., Raymond, Edward, Brandon Stemley, Albert Lindolph, Shirley Stemley Picou and Gail Stemley; and her father Daniel Green.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne Wharton Sr.; her daughter Michele C. Williams; her stepchildren, Wayne Jr. (Sylvia), Brendel Joseph (Wade), Kirk (Alyson) and Troy (Tamara); her grandchildren, Troy, Jenna Deemer, Brandon Wharton, Bailey Wharton, Dillon Wharton, Makenna Wharton, Jordis Wharton, Taryn Wharton and Taylee Wharton; and her sisters-in-law, Delores Lindolph, Terryle Wharton, Deborah Wharton Montgomery and Francesca Wharton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
