She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas M. Gereighty, Sr.; and her parents, Eugene J. Smith and Ida LeBreton Smith. She is survived by: her children, Kim Gereighty Gandolfi, Thomas M. Gereighty, Jr. and Vickie Gereighty Helmstetter (Philip). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
